The basic bio:

Ka-Neng Au is a Business Librarian at the John Cotton Dana Library of Rutgers University Libraries. (Since July 2007, Au has also been serving as Acting Director of the Dana Library.) He has reference, collection development, and bibliographic instruction responsibilities in accounting, business, economics, and management, as well as computing and computer science. He is available for reference consultation by appointment; send email to au@rutgers.edu.

Au has been a conference speaker in the US and abroad and the author of several journal articles and book chapters on information technology and business information resources. He was an adjunct instructor at the Rutgers Business School for six years, and conducts workshops for the NJ Small Business Development Center several times a year.

He is the primary contributor to the extensive Business Research Guide, with links to more than 3,000 business-related Internet and print resources. This Guide, in whole or in part, has been favorably received by many parties, including: ALA's Reference and User Services Association, the American Economics Association's Resources for Economists on the Internet, Argus Clearinghouse, Business.com, the CEO Express Research Center, Choice, Find/SVP's BestBizWeb Eletter, the Internet Public Library, Librarians' Internet Index, the Scout Report for Business and Economics, and the Wall Street Executive Library. Au received his BA in Management and Economics from the University of Guelph in Canada; his Masters in Library Service is from Rutgers SCILS. He is a member of the American Library Association, the Library and Information Techonology Association, the Chinese American Librarians Association and the Internet Society.
