Sawyer Seminar on Reparative and Restorative Paradigms for Environmental Justice

The Mellon Sawyer Seminar Series Potentialities of Justice: Toward Collective Reparative Futures at Rutgers–Newark is proud to invite you to our final seminar titled Reparative and Restorative Paradigms for Environmental Justice.
The seminar will bring together a group of scholars and community organizers, and experts from local, national, and international communities to address past and ongoing environmental harms and consider reparative and restorative approaches to environmental justice. Panelists include Commissioner Shawn M. LaTourette, New Jersey’s Commissioner of Environmental Protection, Maya van Rossum, founder of Green Amendments for the Generations, Micah Fink, Emmy-Nominated Producer and Director, Wayne Mann, former Chief of Ramapough Lenape Nation Turtle Clan, among others.
