A Rutgers-Newark program that’s helped more than 300 New Jersey entrepreneurs grow their small businesses marks its 15th anniversary with a call for applicants and new support from Fiserv, a leading global provider in financial technology with a flagship presence in New Jersey.
Karen Brown Stovell, who for more than a decade has worked with Newark entrepreneurs creating programs to spur the local economy, has been named associate director of the Fiserv-Rutgers-Newark Program for Inclusive Innovation.
Rutgers Law School and Minority Cannabis Academy are collaborating to expand access to cannabis-related educational programming. Students will be able to enroll at no cost in Rutgers’ Certificate in Cannabis Law and Business, a hybrid course held on the Rutgers-Newark and Rutgers-Camden campuses.
