Fiserv and Rutgers-Newark Partner on Program to Drive Financial Technology Inclusion and Innovation. The program will create a center on the RU-N campus that will serve as a research and incubation space for the RU-N community and local businesses, provide annual scholarships for undergraduate students over a five-year time span, and support career modules to prepare students for internships and jobs.

Founded in 2011, CLiME is a multidisciplinary research and advocacy center based in the Rutgers Law School (Newark) and committed to public scholarship on issues of structural inequality through public engagement with the aim of public impact.

The Center for Urban Entrepreneurship & Economic Development (CUEED) is the first center of its kind in the nation to integrate scholarly works with private capital, government, and non-profit sectors to develop citywide resources and bring renewed economic growth and vitality through urban entrepreneurship.

The Rutgers Advanced Institute for the Study of Entrepreneurship and Development provides an engaged entrepreneurship research platform to increase this activity and spur social mobility, with projects in the US, Africa, and Latin America. We are a small group of researchers and doctoral students creating a community across disciplines at Rutgers-Newark as the core of a global network of engaged scholars.

The Newark Anchor Collaborative (NAC) is an anchor initiative of the Newark Alliance. NAC serves as a community of practice among Newark-based institutions dedicated to the city’s economic revitalization. NAC is an action-oriented think tank comprised of private and public institutional leaders from multiple fields and industries. Together, rather than apart, NAC anchors are spearheading initiatives that promote a vibrant and inclusive Newark economy.
